Marantz 3800 Vintage Stereo Preamplifier

Marantz 3800 stereo preamplifier, offered by Vinyl Vogue after control cleaning and functional testing. This 1970s control console provides phono and line-level source selection, tape facilities, separate left/right tone controls and built-in Dolby processing.

Condition

Used vintage condition. The supplied photographs show light surface and handling marks, with visible marks or dust on the top cover. The silver and black front panel, controls and illuminated indicator are shown in the original photographs. No cosmetic restoration is claimed.

Service and testing

Vinyl Vogue cleaned the controls and tested the unit. The service notes describe it as functioning; the final checklist marks inputs and controls verified for both channels. No capacitor replacement or other component replacement is documented for this preamplifier.

The record does not include a separate quantitative check of Dolby calibration, every tape-routing mode, noise or distortion. It is offered as a tested, functioning vintage preamplifier.

UPS Ground shipping to the contiguous United States is calculated at checkout from the package dimensions, shipment weight and delivery address, with a 5% handling adjustment. Shipments will be insured for the purchase value and require a signature. A street address is required; UPS does not deliver to PO boxes.
