JBL 4311 Control Monitor Speakers (Pair) – Vintage Studio Monitors, All Original, Tested

These are one of those speakers that people don’t really discover… they go looking for them.

Original JBL 4311 Control Monitors — the real deal. The studio roots behind the legendary L100, with that same punchy, forward, incredibly alive sound that made JBL a staple in studios in the 70s.

These came through the shop and immediately stood out. Everything is original, all drivers are in excellent condition, and they sound exactly how you want them to — tight low end, detailed mids, and that crisp JBL top end that just cuts through in the best way.

If you’ve ever heard a proper set of vintage JBL monitors, you already know… there’s a reason people chase these.

Cosmetically, the cabinets do show some wear, including a few areas where the veneer is missing. Nothing that affects performance, but worth noting — and reflected in the price.

This is a player’s set, not a museum piece… and honestly, that’s where the value is.
