2016 Epiphone Masterbilt AJ-45ME Acoustic-Electric – Vintage Sunburst w/ Hard Case

This is a really nice 2016 Epiphone Masterbilt AJ-45ME in Vintage Sunburst, and honestly, these are some of the best bang-for-the-buck acoustics Epiphone has made.

It has that classic slope-shoulder, J-45 inspired look and feel, with the warm sunburst top, tortoise-style pickguard, and vintage-style headstock. It’s not just a pretty guitar either. The Masterbilt series was Epiphone’s more serious acoustic line, and this one has the good stuff: solid Sitka spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, and a short 24.75” scale length that makes it feel comfortable and familiar right away.

Tone-wise, it does exactly what you’d want from this style of guitar. It’s warm, full, woody, and easy to sing over. Great strummer, great songwriter guitar, and it has enough clarity to handle fingerpicking without getting muddy. It has that dry, rootsy, broken-in kind of thing going on without feeling tired or dull.

This one is in excellent condition and includes a hard case. It plays well, looks great, and is ready to go. There may be some very minor signs of normal use, but nothing ugly or distracting. The sunburst finish looks beautiful in person, and the mahogany back has a really nice grain to it.

It also has onboard electronics, so you can plug it in for gigs, recording, church, open mics, or wherever else you want to take it. A very solid acoustic-electric that feels like a real instrument, not just a beginner guitar with a pickup thrown in it.

This is Epiphone’s all-solid-wood slope-shoulder acoustic-electric, inspired by the classic J-45 style. Solid Sitka spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, and a comfortable 24.75” scale length.

It has a warm, woody, full sound that works great for strumming, songwriting, fingerpicking, and singing. Very comfortable guitar to play, and the onboard electronics make it easy to plug in for gigs, recording, open mics, church, etc.

This one is in excellent condition and includes a hard case. The Vintage Sunburst finish looks great, and the mahogany back has some really nice grain. Just a great, solid acoustic-electric that feels like a real step up from the usual import acoustics.
