This is a great receiver that was produced in the early 70s right as the transition to from tube amps to solid state was occuring. Many sx-990 owners report that sounds very close to the rich, warm sound you get with tube amps. 28 watts per channel with an 8 ohm load. Black faceplate and knobs with the “lunar glow”
This receiver has been fully disassembled cleaned and checked for faulty components. I replaced all of the transistors that are known to cause issues and checked all capacitors. The unit has been tested for over 60 hours on all inputs and outputs with no distortion on any channel, and it sounds incredible.
